FearLESS and play full out

What kills the future is fear. It kills the pursuit of the unknown. Question is: what will you do if you have no fear?

It is a question I’ve turned over and over and chicken out on more times than I can count. But hey, progress rather than perfection. Overcoming fear requires a growth mindset; an attitude that we can grow and change if we choose to. Nothing is set in stone and the very moment you acknowledge that everything is transitory? You learn to treasure the present as life unfolds before you and you give your all.

Treasure the gift of life and live as if you will die. (Because we all will).

I’m thankful for everything that has led me to this space where I am, with what I have. There would have been a time where I’ll have wondered “why me”. Well, those times have passed.

And with that passing, it’s also a new series of actions I have been undertaking that adds to my feeling happy. To make choices from a space of complete accountability where I am not waiting for people and dreams to come to me. To move towards them and stay in my OWN lane.

To choose to stop reacting to the world and waiting for it to heal the wounds or give me what I want. I mean everybody at one point or another might have hoped/demanded/questioned … but life is life. Make choices in such a way that should you die, you die happy in the process of living not unhappy because you’ve yet to achieve your goals.

Life lessons that I’ve revisited over and over in various phases as I live and learn … and with a couple more days to another birthday? I am thankful for how I live now. That I live with an open heart, love fiercely and play full out. (I strive to and def have tons of space to be more) It hasn’t been an easy ride and if you asked the 21 year old me if I saw myself being where I am now?

I’ll have derisively laughed, probably roll my eyes and brush it aside.

The 21 year old me had lost my faith, my direction, my purpose. It’s been quite a walk. One I choose to recognise my fears and choose courage, one I lean in to faith and one I commit to love wholly and fiercely. (well more than I already did and this round loving myself with the same, if not more intensity as I do for others)

For all that has passed, I give thanks. For all I have, I give thanks. And for all I will be and attain? I give my best to playing full out. Scary and exciting times ahead.
