The helmets all lined neatly along the wall which you will see the very moment you step in!
Opposite the helmets, you have the magazines which literally screams “need for speed”. If y’know what I mean! 😉
The batteries that instantly triggered thoughts of bikes for table numbers whilst you wait for your food!
Situated ata 1 Jalan Pisang Singapore, The 7th Cylinder is another cafe to add to your #cafestovisitinsingapore ! Tucked away on a stretch of shops just (somewhat) opposite Arab Street; The 7th Cylinder isa great stop-by location especially for bikers who have a thing for the retro and vintage vibe! The entire cafe is set to a retro biker theme with a wall lined with helmets and on the opposite end hangs a series of bike magazines. A bike was positioned right in front of the counter where a huge coffee machine dominated. Being a coffee junkie, that stood out. And did I mention? To all you coffee lovers out there; every cup is made with a double shot!
Being only slightly peckish, I opted to try their butter pancakes with strawberries. Personally felt that the menu didn’t look very promising. And upon the arrival of my food I was wondering why there were raspberries atop my pancake instead of strawberries. Tucked in and was pleasantly surprised as I realized that the strawberries were nestled within my pancakes! The texture of the pancake was divine! Soft and fluffy just the way I like ’em. (and I can never seem to ever make them rise that way when I make ’em mysel) I was filled after I cleaned my plate out and couldn’t do dessert though the cakes were practially screaming at me to eat ’em! S’this definitely calls for another visit with the girlfriends, heh.
Only bummer would be that there are pretty limited seats so do pick a less crowded time. I’ll recommend sometime on a weekday before 5!
