Fighter & Lover

Cliche as is sounds, I will never see myself at where I am now a year ago.  Can I break it down into hours, minutes and seconds? The lessons I have garnered in a span of a year have propelled me to where I am now.

I still don’t have it all put together. But that doesn’t really matter. Are we ever really ready for something? Anything for that matter. Will you ever be ready? We could connect the dots but do they really matter? At the end of the day, we believe what we want to and there is nothing more to it. It is a tough journey to accept what you can’t change and to change what you can’t accept. Sounds like an epic oxymoron. But is it? The constant paradoxical conversion of the definition of life in one sentence to me will be “to live and let live”. It is tough to walk this journey of life alone and I try constantly to pull people along with me. At times, I stop along the way veering off-course simply because some people I want with me has stopped.

Some days I think I finally pushed onwards only to realize as I walk on that I’ve taken the long route and it circles around incessantly before it routes back the right way. I guess all I’m trying to say is that the past year has taught me so many lessons, been the pivotal point when I can now say I am going the right way. Love yourself and accept yourself, understand that people come and people go and sometimes, love just isn’t enough.

My goal is to constantly look forward. To do everything in life with zeal and with happiness. So much so that given the chance to turn time back, I will have it the exact same way. Because when you change an act, it then causes a chain of reaction which results in a changed outcome. I will keep pushing onward. My choices will reflect my hopes and not my fears. And no matter whatever the outcome. I will appreciate everything and expect nothing.
