Unconditional acceptance is the greatest of them all

I will not apologize for who I am, make excuses or validate my actions. So thank you for finding it in your heart to accept me, to love me and be by my side despite our differences in our outlook to communications and issue managements.

Thank you for teaching me in the past years that there are people who will treasure, care and love you for everything including all your imperfections. Thank you for being you, and in turn letting me be me. For as we let our own lights shine, we unconsciously give others permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence liberates others.

Thank you. For giving me courage when I faltered. For pushing me on when I stumbled. For your presence, for your smiles, for the tears and for the memories. Thank you for the years we had, and the years to come.

I couldn’t put it more simpler than to say:

Thank you and I love you. Friend(s) who stuck by me, saw me through the good, bad and ugly and who are still there despite all the differences and disagreements.
