“You see, while I don’t need you in my life. I want you to be a part of it from hereon and indefinitely.”
It was like he assimilated me. He blended into my life like he was meant to be. Made a home in my heart, love became like an art. Love has became overrated. Both undefinable and yet concurrently holds definition in every language in every dictionary. It is both tangible and intangible. Love has became an excuse to leave. An excuse to not loving. It has became excessively exploited like the “hello(s)” and “goodbye(s)” in daily conversations. Love is life and life is love. Amidst the myriad of people that walk in and out of your life; you meet someone you want to wake up to. Someone you want in good times and in bad. And all you can offer is the very same “I love you” that you offer to every other person on the street. I could say those words and be right and wrong about it. I could say it and squeeze in a “but”. I won’t say these words. I’ll show him what it means. All I can do is pray that it’s reciprocated. Love with all I’ve got, expect nothing and appreciate all he can give. Love hard when love is to be had and have faith it’ll all fit into place.
